Our management team has a combined experience of over
40 years in the financial services industry.
Emmanuel Osa Agwoje, B.Sc, M.Sc – MD/CEO
An outstanding scholar who won various awards in his
school days, he was placed third in a National Essay Competition and
was, for three years, while at the University of Port Harcourt, in the
Dean List for outstanding performance. At the University of Benin, he
was the best graduating student in the M.Sc Economics class of 1986.
A seasoned banker, his career which spanned over a
period of 16 years at Allstates Trust Bank Plc, took him through all
facets of banking including branch management, credit and marketing,
foreign operations, investment banking, private banking and corporate
finance; culminating to his being appointed Executive Director overseeing
investment banking activities of the bank. He was Team Leader for Prudent
Bank Plc restructuring programme that presented to UAC Plc, the majority
shareholder of the bank then, the blue print that formed the basis for
restructuring the bank. He has attended various banking courses at home
and abroad.
As a banker, he was saddled with sensitive responsibilities
of managing his bank’s liquidity, asset and liabilities as well
as funds management. At various occasions, he was mandated to manage
branches where he excelled. He also championed the course of shaping
the bank’s strategic direction in terms of human capital development.
His intelligence, diligence and integrity saw him sitting on and chairing
different policy making committees notable among them being the Bank’s
Asset and Liabilities Committee [ALCO]. He was instrumental in fashioning
some key policies that were in use in the Bank.
A one time Trustee of Money Market Association of
Nigeria, Mr. Agwoje served as a major resource person in articulation
of Programmes for the association and played key role in the development
and implementation of Treasury Dealership Certificate of Money Mart.
Aside serving as member of Rivers State and Bayelsa State Privatisation
Committee that advised the Governments of these states on the privatization
programme, Emmanuel Agwoje, in 1999 worked with the Minister of Science
and Technology in the development of the blue print for the Nigerian
Satellite Project.
Anthony Enahoro Edenih, B.Sc, MBA –
General Manager
Edenih was educated at the University of Port Harcourt
where he obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science in Banking &
Finance. He also holds and MBA Finance, of the University of Calabar
and has 13 years professional experience in the financial services industry,
4 in insurance as Investment Officer at Crusader Insurance Nigeria Plc
with responsibility for product costing, portfolio performance and analysis
as well as Deals Monitoring and Management. The other 9 years was in
banking where he held several challenging positions. His key competencies
are in the area of treasury management, money market operations, asset
and liability management and investment banking.
He joined Equator Capital Limited as pioneer Head
of Money Market from Allstates Trust Bank Plc where he was manger and
Head of Domestic Treasury with responsibility for liquidity management,
building and sustaining relationship with financial institutions, fund
management, inter-bank trading, investment appraisal and portfolio management.
His brilliance and professional outlook were so glaring that he was
appointed to serve on the Assets and Liability Committee [ALCO] of the
bank as secretary – an appointment he held until leaving Allstates.
Tony is currently General Manager with responsibility
for business development.
Felix O. Ebosa, B.Sc., MBA, ACS – Group
Head, Capital Market Operations/COO ECL Asset Management Ltd
Mr. Ebosa is the Group Head of Capital Market Operations
and the Chief Operating Officer of our stockbroking subsidiary, ECL
Asset Management Limited. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration
( MBA, Marketing) from Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State and
B.Sc (Hons) in Management from the University of Port Harcourt , Port
Harcourt, Rivers State. A chartered stockbroker, professional manager
and pensions consultant, Mr. Ebosa is an Associate member of the Chartered
Institute of Stockbrokers, Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria and
a Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
He has worked in Power Generation and Contract Supply
Marketing before joining the Capital Market sector in 1992. He was at
various times Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian International Securities
Ltd, Horizon Stockbrokers Ltd and Niche Securities Limited before being
seconded to Spring Capital Markets Ltd (with Springbank’s Consolidation).
A thorough professional and very experienced stockbroker
and investment manager, Mr. Ebosa has attended several seminars and
courses in capital market operations and investment services.
Olalere Mumini, B.Sc, MBA – Financial
Controller and Head, Transactions Group
An outstanding accounting graduate of the University
of Lagos, Mumini has had a progressive career spanning professional
services, industry, commerce and financial services. He started his
career at Global Environment Technology as Accountant with responsibility
for budgeting and internal controls. Thereafter he joined one of the
biggest fast food chains in Nigeria as Financial Accountant and was
in charge of banking relationship management, budgeting, treasury and
fund management with a portfolio of over a hundred million Naira.
For six years, he was in the banking industry in a
career that spanned across desks including treasury management, currency
trading, cash management, fund placement, deposit management and marketing
of financial services products.
Mumini holds the B.Sc degree in Accounting, and MBA,
with specialization in Financial Management.
Onyebuchi Ejiogu, HND, B.Sc – Head,
Research & Strategic Planning
A skillful and dedicated professional with extensive
experience in the coordination, planning, and execution of operational
and administrative processes, Onyebuchi’s career spans different
service sectors, including banking. He was Office Manager at Odera Internet
Solutions, information technology services providers and was in charge
of general administration, personnel management and business development.
He set up the entire administrative structure and installed a system
for optimizing performance. He later moved to the banking sector where
he served in different administrative capacities, including as executive
assistant to the chief executive of a commercial bank.
He possesses versatile skills with training in accounting, general management
and financial analysis. Educated at Yaba College of Technology and Ambrose
Alli University, Ekpoma, Onyebuchi Ejiogu holds a B.Sc degree in Economics.
He was the pioneer Head of Adminitration and Human Capital Management
before his reassignment to the research and strategic planning unit.strategic
